I would leave the leaves on now because of what I found out that is in my new article. My old article on Asian scale is in my website, which is linked in the header. But unless the leaves are SOOOO bad that there is no green left in them keep them on and spray them. You will be surprised what works now. I have 30,000 cycads and now, have not used a pesticide in my nursery for almost 3 years now.
