I recently acquired a young E. longifolius 'Joubertina'. It does not have as pronounced broad and overlapping leaflets as some photos I've seen. It is a lovely silvery-blue color though.
My question is: can the leaf morphology still change as the plant matures? Is it possible that the previous owner grew the plant in some shade? Or is there just lots of genetic variation?
I'm trying to understand why the leaflets on this particular plant are not a little more compact. Needless to say, the plant will be grown in full sun now.
Thanks,
Mark
