Hi Tom. John Saia aka The Virginian is our VPS President. I am the Vice President of Media and Communications. We as of now are a relatively small informal group. We are starting to pick up the pace and have many new members after about 3 years of gatherings (plant swaps, nursery visits, mass quantity deliveries to John's house from Sean at Chilly Palm Tree Co.) but for now its just a lot of fun and we're playing it by ear and seeing where it goes. I only met John and Boca Joe in October of 2007. I live in S.Central PA but I grew up in VA. I've only been growing palms, cycads and tropicals for 3 years now. I've learned some amazing things in those 3 years and we're trying to pass that info along to many other people now with the Virginia Palm Society. Thanks for taking a look at the new board.
