I have a Sago that is pretty old and have never really paid attention to the pups, but recently decided to try and grow some of the pups. There is over 30 pups on the mom Sago ranging from 1.5" diameter to 5" in diameter and my question is, is there a limit to how many pups you can take off at a time? Will taking to many possibly kill the mom Sago? And another question, my father never cut off the pups of his Sago he just pulled them from the mom Sago and never treated the mom Sago with fungicide and the mom Sago never died, is this a safe practice? I live in the central valley in California if that matters at all. Thanks in advance everybody!!
