I have heard that C. debaoensis is rather cold hardy, down to the lower 20s F. Any experience on this? I picked up what I hope is a C. debaoensis and was planning on gifting it to a friend who has a great, protected spot to plant it at his new house. We live in Gainesville, FL.
Thanks for the great forum. I've been mulching my cycads with coffee grounds for two years and have been scale free, even on a plant that originally had scale. Seems to have cured the mealy bug problem I had on my bamboo as well. Unfortunately CAS is rampant in my neighborhood and throughout the city.
