we were able to rescue some large revoluta's(16" w x 3-4' clear trunk) from a construction site but had to do the digging in a hurry due to an impending tractor haircut which left them with a considerable amount of ragged roots and the main tap root has been cut. Anything you can suggest. Should we trim the ragged tips and seal them, let them air dry for a day or two, then spray with fungicide prior to planting. they are going to be planted in containers.
