cold weather leaf flushing

I have a large revoluta that was recently transplanted. It just started flushing leaves, and the weather is turning cold. I don't think the leaves will harden off before really low temps set in. Although I realise there is not much I can do, i figure it can't hurt to ask you if you think there is any thing I can do to help the plant.
