I am assuming a lot from your post, but what I am guessing is that you just had a sago that put out 3 male cones, showing that the apex has split into 3 new branches. Each branch will grow a flush of new leaves each. You should not try to kill any of these apecies. At first, the leaves will interfere with each other but as more flushes come out over time, the branched stems will get longer and the leaves won't fight with each other. What I do in this case is to remove the leaves in the middle and leave the ones on the outside and as the stems get longer, the inside ones won't fight with each other as much. At that time you will have a beautiful branched plant that to some is worth a whole lot of money.
