Seed Germination

Tom,
I read your article on seed germination, and it is very informative. I have prepared and planted 3 cycas seeds for germination. My question is: If I have done everything properly, how many months, on average, from starting the seeds is it likely that I would see evidence of sprouting? I am in southern California.
