: Hi,
:
: I recently acquired a Zamia
: maritima, which came in a bonzai
: dish.
:
: It's in a western window, with a
: little southern light for about an
: hour a day. The window is a little
: drafty. I don't know if it's the
: draft or if I've overwatered it or
: underwatered it, but the leaves are
: turning brown -- RAPIDLY.
:
: I'd like to repot it VERY soon, with
: a clay pot & porous soil I can
: trust.
:
: What suggestions do you have? Any
: advice would be very much
: appreciated -- by me and by the
: cycad.
:
: Thank you.

Well you need to get it out of the bonsai dish, which with hardly any root system, it isn't surprising it is doing that. I normally would suggest my soil mix that I detail in my soil article in my article section. (in my website that is linked in the header)
