I would be grateful to receive advice on a problem that I am experiencing with my C. panzhihuaensis seedlings. Five seeds germinated quite quickly and within about three weeks of being planted four of them sent up leaf shoots. Unfortunately each emergent leaf has withered and dried when it is about a quarter inch out of the growing medium. All five seeds seem to have formed strong root systems with tap roots about five inches long. I am trying some other Cycas, Dioon and Macrozamia species and those that have sent up leaves so far are fine. Any suggestions?
