I have a bed of 6 month old panzhia seeds growing outside, most with their first and a few with second leaves. It's winter right now, so they are dormant. In the spring I plan on maxing out the nitrogen (with minors) and stimulating them to grow as much as possible. After reading your article on leaf cutting for growth stimulation, I am wondering if your leaf pruning idea would work on seedlings?, and further, with a one or two leaf seedling, would you cut all the leaves?, or just half? (I suppose a one leaf seedling can still be cut 50%). And then there's the question of how often to cut, and how long to allow the plants to 'recharge'(time spent with new leaf) before pruning them again.
