Hello
I have a large C rumphii. 2 summers ago, I had it in full sun, resulting in very compact leaves and 2 flushes. Last summer, I placed it in morning sun only, and the result was larger leaves, larger and more leaflets, all in all more "luxuriant", but only one flush.
So for next summer I was thinking to keep it in full sun to max out on carbs, and then when it starts to flush I'd put it in the shade so the leaves come out large.
Will this work? In other words, is leaf morphology on the upcoming flush based on the conditions prior to or during the flush?
