Hi Tom. The neighbor who ran over my sago palm in September has agreed to replace it, and has ordered it and is ready to put it in the spot where the old one is. Two questions: (1) Should I have them put it directly where the old one was (or is it likely that the root system of the old one will produce a new plant eventually) and (2) Is it okay to plant it now (I'm in Charleston, SC, and it won't get really cold until February). Let me know your thoughts.
