I found this website to be very informative, especially since I am a relatively new resident of Queensland Australia whose climate is similar to that of Florida. I have a couple of large cycads (I think you call them King Sagos) that show the same signs of illness as those pictured on your website, ie, the newly flushed leaves turn yellow or brown and crinkly soon after emergence. I take it that they may be suffering from a manganese deficiency, although I have been lightly fertilizing them with an organic slow-release fertilizer for the past two years. Unfortunately I have not be able to locate any fertilizer/tonic specifically for cycads - can you recommend a remedy? Would palm fertilizer work as well?
