I have a sago palm that is about 3 years old and the leaves on the bottom have turned completely yellow/brown over the summer and now the upper leaves are starting to turn yellow and maroon in the center. I keep it outside in the summer in direct sunlight and then bring it inside when the weather turns colder (the plant is in NJ). I water it occasionally and just mixed in half fertilized potting soil with the regular soil that is already in the pot. What can I do to stop the spread of the yellowing?
