In a way you can. My article in my site talks about storing pollen in the freezer, which will keep pollen that stored correctly for 5 years, if not longer. You will want to do this when you get any male cones even if you don't have known female at the time. Now, it is not impossible to send frozen pollen across the world, you just have to do through the trouble and expense to keep it cold for usually, 12 days. Another problem which is not in this case is that you can not send pollen to other countries that are species that are on appendix 1 of CITES, but you can send app. 2 species. At lest in this case all zamias are on app. 2.
