I purchased this little sago a few years ago out of the supermarket with a heart to 'save it'. It was in a shallow bowl, possibly being grown more towards a bonsai.. I planted it in a deeper pot and have been caring for it as normal. The first year of new flush was wonderful. The second and third years of flush see all new large (20"+) fronds twisting under and curling at the tips. When I say 'tip', actually up to 3-5" of the tip is curling under and twisting. Other than that, the plant looks really great and is placed outdoors every spring-october (ohio). No bugs. Great color. "leaves" are all very close up the frond Is this a fertilizer issue?
