Yes. What is the reason you want to do that?
I have one large one in my yard here in TN that I let brown out in the winter before I cover it. I cut off all of the leaves once it does...usually around December.
Last year it came back with a vengance in late March and put out a heavy flush. Then it flushed again later in the summer.
From what I understand, over in China there are places that regularly cut of the leaves for the winter.
The only thing I don't know is if this hurts it to do year after year. I guess I'll find out!
