Transplanting a Cycas

Hello, I have two fairly mature (5-6 ft across) sego's and need to transplant them. What are the issues with this? Can it be done? What is the root system like, spreading or straight down? Where they are now is somewhat sun protected, where I need to put them will be full sun, will this be an issue?
