Depends on where you are it may take months to aclimate a green house plant to outside. If the plant is still in a pot I would bring it to a shady spot and water it once a week. If the plant has 3+ inch caudex it should be fine, any smaller than that and it may have expended its energy trying to flush. It is always a good idea to mark the plants at the greenhouse with a piece of tape to indicate orientation so the plant can remain with similar orientation when you get home. Hope all works out well Bruce - Fallbrook CA

Barry,
Generally speaking a green house is equal to about 70-90% shade.

: I purchased the species from a
: greenhouse and didn't acclimate it
: into full sun appropriately. The
: mature leaves browned. I left them
: and cut them off three weeks ago
: when the new emerging leaves were
: two inches in length. I gather that
: the old burned leaves afforded the
: new ones protection as ywo days
: after removing them the new leaves
: burned to a crisp. What should I do
: now?
