We were given a huge sago palm yesterday.
It stands 5.5 ft tall and spans out to
10 ft across. HUGE. I have kept the bare roots misted. dug out a hole big enough
to accomadate the roots. Hubby is mending the soil as I write. I am so worried about
over watering, not watering enough, etc.
He is adding in a small amount of palm fertilizer...can you give us any advice
as to making sure it survivies. oh, we
also planted it in an area that gets
full sun from 9am-3pm-summer months,
we live in North FL zone 8...any words
of wisdom would be greatly appreciated !
Have A Weedless Day !! ~Char~
