: Another quick question set--My sagos
: are on my apt. patio (which is big),
: and 3 out of 6 are in partial shade,
: 1 is in half sun half shade, and a 3
: gal tub and 1 gal tub palm are in
: full sun. Should I rotate them so
: all get a bit of sun during the
: week? Rotate weekly? Leave as is? or
: put baby palm in shade instead?
: Thanks. Also, I'm watering all
: regularly by giving them a good
: soaking twice a week. Should I cut
: down on watering for shady ones?
: Thanks.

Sounds like you have a good experiment going whether you know it or not. You can learn a lot from what you have. Leaves in too much shade will make them elongate too much. Some sahde will give good color and average leangth of leaves and full sun wiull make compast leaves, and if too hot, could yellow or burn just a little. I would leave them all for now and watch what happens. See how they grow and what they look like and determine what you like to look at the most for growing these in your particular area.
As far as watering, you always need to water more when they are in more sun, where more shade, then you can deal with not having to water as much. Good watering twice a week in the middle growing situation should be perfect. There again do that for a while and see if any plants start dropping brown leaves early and you will see if you need to water more or less. Your plant will show you what they like and you will be able to tell what growing situation your prefer them to be in.
