: I transplanted 3 palms 3 months ago.
: All had white scales badly. I cut
: all shoots off and transplanted. Two
: have started to produce new shoots.
: However the shoots are all drooping,
: like a wet noodle. I have been
: treating the top of the trunks with
: a Ortho Volck oil spray couple times
: a month for the scales. Any input
: would be appreciated.

The answer is in the same location, I just told Michael, below in the listing of questions. Look at my instructions on transplanting cycads. It tells you that if you don't cut off the leaves, they will droop down. They also cause more stress to the plant than the good they do by taking in light.
