Help! My 12 yr old King Sago produced some pups last fall, I wanted to wait until March to remove them. In February, the outside leaves started turning brown. The center cone was growing fast. A nurseryman advised me to remove the cone, and fertilize the plant. Ok, the leaves are rapidly turning brown all over the place. One pup is flourishing, the rest of the pup-leaves are also turning brown. What to do? I live in San Joaquin Valley, optimum climate and soil. Is there a chance of not enough water? Too much? I don't want to lose this plant. There are some good products available on this site. Can you adise me about them? Thanks so much. Katie
