: Haven't tried it yet on my Cyclads (I have 2 that are 20 years old each), by my neighbor puts strands of Christmas lights around the base of her palms and covers them if the temp is going below freezing. I have mine place next to the garage door and move them in if the temp is going to stay too long below 30 degrees. I live north of Dallas and we've had some pretty mild winters. Good luck!
