Looking forward to the NYC Marathon this weekend. I'm sure that there will be other Crows in attendance this weekend. This is my favorite race. Maybe a best time is in order for this year. Joan Benoit Samuelson, Gary Allen and Mary Ropp look out!

will hoist a few in your honor...feeling pretty here, guessing somewhere between 2:50-3:10 honestly have no clue where my fitness is as I haven't raced since spring good luck to Roger and all Maineiacs!

Hope you keep it under 3:00 Gary , are you going to be the Joker Roger or run a PR? Mary , remember it's important to have fun in your first marathon so enjoy the crowds and NYC. Good luck to all. Mary, Like Mike said, "ENJOY" the experience, as NYCM is a cat like NO other!! AND to have it be your FIRST marathon, WOW!! Great way/place to "become" a marathoner!! (Then we can work you into becoming an Ultra-Marathoner @ GCI next summer!!) Maine-iac

Thanks for wishing me good luck. Got it done. Nice day to run 50 miles or any distance. Lost the lead pack going into lap three where they put some distance on everyone. Winning time was an incredible 6:26 and second was a 6:33. I think top Four were under 7 Hours. My finish was in 7:48 for 9th. Not so sure about the Marathon Times other than Ben Nephew was the first overall. I hope you and your son had fun in San Antonio. WOW... good work; That winning time is a new course record, as last year's 6:30 WAS the course record. All I remember about the year I did it was being lapped by the folks doing the 50 miler going up that first hill on my second loop, they were starting their third/last one. Single track is TOUGH!! Well done, Maine-iac (Doing San Antonio this coming w/e)
