G.... On the message center (4-13 @ 1:14) the prediction was 2:58.29 for you....How GREAT to be wrong...You paced it beautifully.....CONGRATS!!!!!! B.

thanks bob, sitting in the media center with Mary, many things to report, but one of the most exciting is that the big board is showing Falmouth's Sheri Piers as the third American in 2:37:04 -- in other words, less than five minutes behind the winner! Great job in Boston Gary! I was hoping to bump into you, but there was no way I could have caught you on the course. I took an ambitious approach in my race and hit the half in 1:30 but couldn't quite match it in the second half. I was 3 seconds faster than last year and I'm really impressed with my age-graded time of 2:46. Congratulations to all the Crows who experienced the 113th Boston Marathon.
