Hooray, I'm actually going to make it up for the race. I wasn't sure, but I have to drive up and deliver wine anyway. Gary, Would it be ok if Sara and I crash at your house Saturday before the race? We'll be around delivering wine on the island during the day. I'll bring interesting wine!

we have had several e-mails and phone calls regarding sunday's Crooked Road Races. Here is some useful information: The race starts at 9:30 AM sharp both the 5 and 10 miler start together. Both courses are run on out and back courses* primarily on the Crooked Rd.(* i.e. same start/finish lines) The start is located just off Rt 102/198 in Town Hill. After you cross the causeway to Mount Desert Island bear right or stay straight at the traffic lights. Town Hill is about 2 miles at the top of a big hill. Turn left at the Town Hill country store. The start is at Atlantic Brewing Company just around the corner You can sign up the day of the event. $20 with a shirt (while supplies last) and $10 without. You can also still register online at the link below. There is a post race B'Bque at Atlantic Brewing company which is also a charity event to help raise funds for a worthy cause. Friends and family members are welcome. Parking is at Town Hill Country Store or Atlantic Brewing and restrooms are located at Atlantic Brewing Awards will be held shortly after the run near the finish line. We can always use extra volunteers. Please let us know if you'd like to be involved, any help is greatly appreciated even a few minutes worth while your favorite runner does his or her thing.
