Of 74 marathons, this is now my number one favorite. I love every marathon, and have done some spectacular ones, but everything converged to make this the best: scenery, weather, organization, support, variety, endless beauty. I loved it sooo much. I read where someone got lost but I don't know how as the ground was marked the whole time, I commented on that. Thanks for a great experience. Only thing I'd add is more race clothing, I would have loved to have a sweatshirt.

Michelle, Of my 66 marathons this is my favorite one too, although I may never get to run it, I can tell by the looks on all your smiling faces its a pretty fun event. You see I love to run marathons and I love to direct them and somebody has to do both. When I founded this event(been in my head for years) and designed the MDI Marathon course (this happened on a snowy Feb night) I knew what I wanted, you know the feeling we all get by finishing a marathon well multiply that by about 100 and you get the warm fuzzy feeling of satisfaction I get by working hard to give something back to the sport I love and that has been so good to me over the years.
