Nice to hear that Judson Cake will be returning shortly to live and train again full time on Mount Desert Island in prepartion for an Olympic trails qualifing effort at the Chicago Marathon this fall. We're sure he added a lot to ZAP Fitness down in Blowing Rock NC but it will be good to see him once again listing Bar Harbor Maine in race results [which has always been and still is his legal residence anyway] Watch out Mainer's division at B2B 08!! Anyway, Judson says he feels he can do everything up here that he does down in NC so it makes perfect sense to us that he might as well do it at home. CAW! CAW! CAW!

Thats cool he's coming back. I mean really what does NC have thats better than ME? we have carriage roads, mountains, and I'm sure we have better keg parties. Plus there is no way they have lobster at their keg parties down there. The more really competitive runners in ME the better for the running community here as a whole. agree Ned, JC is a fairly decent runner and I think he has a good shot at reaching his goals no matter where he lives or with who he trains. From a purely selfish standpoint, is there any better place than Mount Desert Island to run? Really, think about it?? I hope when JC gets home besides running he might also use his energy to help in a few other creative places. Here are a couple of thought starters which might help him get started, always tell the truth and respect your elders.
