I suspect that one reason for Hall running London is that the course will be far easier on his body with a hard effort. He plans to run a track season, and Boston _could_ beat him up pretty badly. One factor that's generally positive - seldom in the past decade have any US male marathoners gone to compete in any of the major marathons oveseas. London, Berlin, Rotterdam, Fukuoka, ... This reverses that trend; maybe he wants to get out of a comfort zone of running "at home"Stevie V --Previous Message-- : As Greg Meyer is still the last American to : win at Boston, I sure wish Ryan Hall would : have given the Boston Marathon a shot in his : debut at the distance.
