how fun! That would be us crossing the Willis Ave bridge into the Bronx just before mile 20 which by my watch was a 6:53 mile. Some spilts before were 16-6:31 17-6:35 18-6:39 19-6:42 as I mentioned I felt he(Lance) started to get quiet and noticeably seem more slightly more winded, I think this pic shows some strain but as I have said anybody else would have come completely unglued and that my friends is why Lance Armstrong won 7 Tour De France's... he really is, ONE TOUGH MOTHER! --Previous Message-- : For those of you who haven't seen the Land Cam : yet, this is a pretty good picture of what : was going on Novenber 5 in NYC... : : : : Photo courtesy Brightroom Event : Photography :

Hello Mary, Gary, Hope all well in your world and everyone returned home safe after such a perfect weekend.. Congratulations to you Gary of course, your example has inspired me yet again to persue another PB for next Flora London marathon 23 April 2007 and strive more, one of my friends in Seoul (another runner) has persuaded me to keep marathon course running until we are in our 80's.. Seems fine to me so far. How nice to meet up with you in such special circumstances and location and extend grateful thanks for the warmth and hospitality extended by you all to this scotsman's first time visit in your lovely country. Funny, about 10 mins after you left Copacabana, the highlights Featured that part of the course televised running with Lance, was repeated twice, looked a very comfortable running style. What a wondrous event, splendidly organised and for me so far, one of the finest settings I have had pleasure to visit..words like awesome, spectacular, stunning, fabulous, vibrant, sunny, crowd, dancing etc, legs feel great, returned to work last Tuesday - huge smile on my face as only you can imagine exactly how I am feeling at this moment. The FGF needle ( feel good factor) has gone right off the gauge as we say. Was really happy with my very respectable time for my 3rd Marathon, best of all, feel great. Will I be back, YES. -- Looked at the MDI website, will apply for 2007, looks beautiful and inviting.. Let us keep in touch, warmest wishes to all and wish for everyone continuous good health..
