Posted by Fern on November 5, 2006, 4:37 pm I am watching the NYC marathon and see Gary and Lance. I am sure my eyes would not deceive me but I just know that I saw Lance ask Gary for his autograph during the race. I then knew that word had spread about what a wonderful race director Gary is for the MDI marthon and that Lance wanted something he would treasure the rest of his life. Well Lance, come to Maine next October and your second marathon will be even better than your first. |

I've taken to nibbling on a dry bagel right up to the start of long races as it settles my stomach to have something besides GU / gartorade etc etc..Also my secret weapon is chewable pepto bismal tablets. I take them with me and IF my stomach goes I eat one and it fixes it quick --Previous Message-- |
