: Mr. Thomas, a Penobscot Tribal member, was
: inducted into the Maine Running Hall of Fame
: in 1989. He won many road races during his
: running career and was one of the most
: admired and loved long distance runners of
: his day. It is our desire to honor him and
: to give our youth another positive role
: model from within the Penobscot Tribe.
