Thanks Gary!
That was my first run up Mt. Washington - great fun, beautiful day. It was cloudy at the base and foggy running up through the clouds. At about 5000ft we broke above the clouds into bright sunshine with the summit in view - just like taking off in an airplane and getting above the clouds. A few of the higher summits could also be seen poking through the cloud deck. It was a running scene I will always remember. All the finishing runners gathered to cheer the other runners to the finish line. It was quite a day.
I was not in ultra-shape in time for the Great Cranberry this year. I look forward to joining you next year (looks like I need to include "keg-stand" practice into my training routine??!)
Best Regards,
Bob Sansonetti
