a remember something about that...one of the clearest memories I will ever have is just coming down the Queensboro Bridge(mile 15.7) into Manhattan suddenly a plastic water bottle was tangled up in our (the Lance train) feet I was running one stride in front of Lance and Joanie and swerved sharply, pointing at it I screamed "water bottle!" It was a real ankle breaker and am glad nobody went down.
I just had a e-mail from Joanie and she is coming up to Acadia later this month so I'm in hopes to schedule a long run with her and I'll find out directly from the horses mouth what her plans might be at NYC.
