talking running of course......in my opinion you have them, without goals why bother? Goals help me keep motivated and I just like working towards bigger and better things.
OK I'll go first. Love to hear yours?
Now: go running tomorrow
Soon: crack 3 sometime in 2010 to make my fifth consecutive decade.
Someday: Sub 3s at London, Boston double (one week apart) I have run back to back weekends in 04 at Vegas (2:54:15) and Pac Shoreline in (2:54:50) and in 09 at Sugarloaf (2:55:21) and Vt City (2:55:33)
Abit Later: I have run 73 marathons which leaves me 27 to go to reach 100. Of course I am going to try and break 3 hours in all of them, but being realistic I figure I have a decent shot at doing so in 20 of the 27 remaining. This coupled with the 56 (sub 3s) I have already run, it will get me to 76 or 1 better than my next goal of 75.
Why in heck not: In 2020 I will be 63 and I hope to try and add another decade of sub 3s to make six consecutive.
