splits are the cuts in your feet(if you're crazy enough to run barefoot)from clam and mussell shells. the last police car to visit GCI is buried out in the muck along with Jimmy Hoffa and David Ortiz's jersey. The course is below sea level and dead (like your quads will feel) flat.
