Hey Roger. Thanks for contributing to a great running experience. I thought you would be the guy to take it this year. Your incredible string of marathons last fall and all the long drives in between prove that you have what it takes to be a great ultra runner. I look forward to running on Cranberry again next year and to the great competition and commradarie from you and Joe.
Thanks to Gary and Mary and all the other volunteers. Your hospitality and desire to please the runners make all the Crow events the best I have had the pleasure of attending. I made so many trips to Maine in the last year that it feels like a second home to me.
And congratulations to all the other competitors who battled the heat and sunshine and contributed to the 100% finisher rate. I really enjoyed the stories of running legends Mike Brooks, Ron Paquette and Larry Macon. I was so inspired by Mike's story of completing Badwater and then scaling Mount Whitney that I hiked to the top of Cadiliac Mountain on Sunday. I sure do hurt bad today.
I'll be back for the MDI Marathon in October and look forward to seeing you all then.
