thanks for a fun day! Nice to see to so many quality performances yesterday on a pretty tough course. 3 out of 4 course records fell! I expect when word gets around that the bar will continue to dip substantially lower. This event reminds me of the little engine that could as it has slowly but steadily grown each year. As I said yesterday I don't expect that this race will become huge but I do think it will continue to be a great prep for Boston or other spring marathons. To those who participated, thanks again for doing your parts to help keep us running strong in Eastern Maine.

the quote of the day was, "this race blows away the midwinter classic" by a runner that was at both. To which we say Thank You very much but its like comparing apples and grapes, we do try hard to put together quality events and we do appreciate the positive feedback.
