Go Trojans!

I'm actually not all that phased by "Tourney Time", but being and MDIHS alumna I will say it loudly and proudly:
GO TROJANS!

(I should mention that the Lady Trojans won the Eastern Maine Class B quarterfinal at Bangor Auditorium last night... BDN coverage and MDIslander coverage...)
Back in my day, some of the Gott girls were on the basketball team, and boy did it get brurtal sometimes during games! Those were some really powerful (and intimidating!) women! Infact, one of those Gott's is the single reason I hung up my b-ball shoes at the age of 12 -- I got pegged in the head with a ball as an Emerson Tiger at a game on the Wildcats turf. (I should also mention that my lack of hand-eye coordination may have also contributed for to my short career -- I only scored two points that season!)
