Hi Gary:
Glad to hear there is interest in our Marathon. Yes, the route is a full 26.2 miles and is USATF certified. Jim Gerweck (CT) is certifying the course. The course finishes at the beach in the South Pavilion Lot at Narragansett Beach. The start is at the Ocean Community YMCA in WEsterly, RI and there is transportation from the finish to the start BEFORE the race. The buses will leave from the North Pavilion parking lot at 8:15 AM on Saturday December 16th and the race will begin at 10:30 AM at the Ocean Community YMCA. There will be plenty of parking available at the finish line (North Pavilion Lot) and the official hotel, The Village Inn, is right across the street. You will be able to sign up for the marathon day-of, but prices are much higher. If you sign-up online now it is $50, after Dec. 11th it is $80 and day of $150. Please visit our website at http://coasttocoastrun.org/content/blogsection/26/93/ for details, links to course map and our online registration via active.com and let me know if there is anything else I can help you with.
Best Regards,
