Special thanks to our new presenting sponsor, Red Lobster for all their help in making this all happen! Saw and met an impressive group over breakfast today. A quite pregnant Paula Radcliffe happily chatted with us (she said she is due jan 6)also talked to race delegations from all over the world and got invitations to attend among others Rio De Janerio, Berlin, Big Sur, and several other major world events as their guests! To say our Mount Desert Island Marathon is on the map would be an understatement as many people approached our table to introduce themselves and to say they'd heard good things about what we're doing in Maine! Of course thanks has to go to Brooks Running for suppling us with our custom made jackets with our race name which made our delegation really stand out! a brief report so far, our specially designed
'USAs Most Scenic Marathon (MDI)celebrates USAs most Urban Marathon (NYC) commemorative shirts went over really well at the international breakfast run this morning. Hundreds of runners from all over the world are now wearing our shirts all around the city as we speak!
