International Breakfast and more!

Hi All,
We are here at Larry's NYC! Attened the expo yesterday, where our MDI Marathon contingent were again treated to VIP perks courtesy of the NYRRC as part of their race directors program. We also bumped into the Marathon Junkie, Chuck Engle who was running a marathon on a treadmill for fun. He said he would deffinately be at MDI next year.
We are now off to the International Breakfast Run to hand out over 200 complimentary MDI Marathon T-shirts to runners from all around the world! We'll then go to Tavern on the Green for a VIP breakfast where we expect to see race committees and major athletes (including Lance, Joanie, Dick Beardsley, and more!) Joanie has been enlisted to help pace Lance and Gary passes along the message that he will also offer his pacing abilities to help Joanie pace Lance and meet his goal of breaking three hours.
For those of you that might to watch Gary's progress, his bib number is 812. Look for a yellow hat and a black singlet near the front of the pack at the start! Also, keep a look out for an MDI Medal on the Fred Lebow statue at the finish line. Last year his image opened up the NBC coverage on national television and the 2005 MDI Marathon medal was prominently seen!
