Poland China- 56 exhibitors, 32 boars, 48 open gilts with 29 of them entered into the Jr. Show.
Spotted-114 exhibitors with 59 boars, 96 Open Gilts, 2 bred gilts with 53 Jr. gilts entered into the Open show.
Note to Exhibitors, a letter will be sent from the National Office this week telling you of the expectations as far as entry requirements, health regulations, stress requirements and schedules you are needing to adhere to. Additionally, you will receive a form to complete and send back to the CPS office letting us know of the ear notches and registration numbers of your Open show entries. WE will want these back to our office by Friday May 25. Please assist us in meeting these deadlines. ATTENTION POLAND CHINA AND SPOTTED OPEN SHOW EXHIBITORS- It is a requirement that your boars and gilts of these 2 breeds are stress identified and documented on the pedigree. ONLY STRESS NEGATIVE AND STRESS CARRIER ANIMALS ARE ALLOWED IN THE OPEN SHOW. It is also a requirement that each animal that gets entered in the Open show have a minimum teat count of 6 on each side of the underline and all of these must be functional and have an opening or orifice to be considered sound and functional.
