Exciting Hog College introductions

It is with great pride that the CPS office announce the 6 representatives for our breeds on Hog College Row. Each of these 6 will represent their respective breeds extremely well and in our opinion were the very best candidates out of a fairly large field of candidates. Thanks to all of you that made submissions in 2017 and each of you received fair evaluation and can be proud of your entries. With extreme pride, we announce these animals.
Chester White boar is owned by Armtrong Genetics of Huntsville, Illinois. This impressive boar is ear notch 42-6 with a registration number of 150330006. He is a County Line 46-8 X Hill Jack 19-2.
The Chester White Hog College gilt is owned by Adam Gradert of Geneseo, Illinois. This early January female is ear notch 5-2 and is a Hill jack 19-2 X UMM4 Hot Rod 3-1 gilt with a registration number of 150617002 .
The 2017 Poland China Hog College boar is owned by Kaufman Farms of Anamosa, Iowa. This January 23 son of KWB4 Bullet 28-9 X KTB3 Storm Chaser 1-2 son. His registration number is 48036007.
The Poland China Hog College gilt is owned by Elena Halverson of DeKalb, Illinois and bred by David Siedentop of
Gardner, Illinois. This female has a registration number of 48599002 and was born on February 3, 2017. Her pedigree reads 6Blue Light 11-1 X Foot3 Rammer Jammer 60-4.
The 2017 Spotted Hog College boar is owned by Stayton Brothers of Carlinville, Illinois. This January 15, 2017 son of 6
Downtown 7-1 X DNA3 Footloose 4-6 has a registration number of 163403001. Accompanying this elite Spotted boar is an elite Spotted gilt owned by Raasch Farms of Norborne, Missouri. This 13-9 daughter of 6 Eclipse 3-5 (fitting for today) X RF4 Blade Runner 4-7. her registration number is 163736009. Congratulations to these 6 owners and I look forward to seeing them walk the hard surface in Austin, Minnesota on September 11-13. They will represent your breed of choice extremely well.
