I agree with blue hair and if everyone don't agree there is an issue. We are fitting and sculpting these hogs to look good for young kids and customers forgetting the fact that these hogs need to produce not just for a one day show. The additives the pay lean etc etc is wrecking the industry. I really hope oneday before I pass that it will go back to just turning hogs out and letting them grow natural WO use of pay lean or pay lean like additives. When you buy a young pig at a show as a project you best anticipate to use something like those or your project crumbles because these babies are fitted right out of the sow for shows. Its sad but true the " magic" dust /additives that are not natural has ruined raising hogs.its taking the fun out of it and has become more of a stress worrying how to and what dust you got to add to win for some folks.
