breeder digest statement about bone and motherhood

Jack,,,, Just so you know, I do not agree with the editorial statement about Bone and production! Its is our belief that large, heavy structured females are better mothers. the increase bone mass should enable the sow to have more durability and produce more milk.. It is our belief that excessive muscle would be a bigger obstacle to production than bone... Perhaps, people are confusing coarseness and masculinity with bone, of course these would have a problem in the farrowing house.... If you think I am wrong, perhaps my sows would prove my point... The big heavy boned feminine female are the sows that have both production and longevity ...
