As many of you have noticed below, the CPS Association will begin hosting on-line internet sales as soon as possible. We have purchased the subscription to host these kind of sales and the process of installing this program has begun. It will take several days (hopefully not to many weeks) to get this process up and running. We are excited to announce that that we have contracted Mr. Dan Naughton as sale manager for this project, and he will be incharge of conducting these sales under the name of COS Swine. Briefly I will attempt to highlight the manner that this sale program will be conducted.
1) all correspondence will be forwarded and made with Dan Naughton.
2)a link on the CPS homepage will direct you to the sale program and to direct communication with Mr. Naughton
3)Program available to all CPS MEMBERS at no additional sale expense except listed below.
4)Non-members of the CPS breeds may participate at a fee of $50.00 per sale.
5)A minimum number of 5 head are required by any sale participant to be included to any part of a sale.
6)$10.00 per head lot fee will be charged on each lot consigned.
7)IF A CONSIGNOR WITH NOT ENOUGH LOTS TO POSSIBLY CONDUCT AN AUCTION BY THEMSELVES, THE SALE MANAGER MAY SUGGEST COMBINING SEVERAL CONSIGNORS INTO ONE SALE. the sale manager has the authority to use his best judgement in determining sale dates, consignor combinations etc.
8)sale participants are required to present photos, description of lots and needed information required by sale manager in the time frame described by the sale manager.
9) CPS will do advertising with other popular web-sights to promote your sale and the auction program.
10)Sale participants will have the authority to determine delivery points and designated sites of delivery and have this posted on sale information.
11)A secured server will be used for buyers and sellers security. Additionally, all funds collected for sale animals will be collected by CPS.
12)A 10% buyers premium will be charged, with 50% of this going to the seller, and 50% to CPS.
13)A 10% sale commission of each lot will be retained by CPS.
14)There are numerous other particulars that have to do with management and CPS that have been researched and will be in affect.
